Anna, a miracle child, learns to walk

and you can see it happen in this little video...

Anna is so excited!

She is such a precocious child she can barely walk because she stops for a victory dance after almost every step, with huge smiles, giggles, clapping, and tremendous celebration. When she started to walk we were exalted, delighted... It was hilarious, and wonderful...

Anna, who barely made it during her mother's pregnancy.

Time after time, our hearts would break, because Anna could not be found...
Every visit was a search for Anna, growing more and more desperate and doubtful she had survived another week...

"Has there been any heavy spotting?"

...the Doctor would ask, after two nurses and a sonogram operator could not find her, searching...

"no"

Leah would report...

This was after the two auto accidents Anna survived in utero...

...the little rascal was hiding...   ...Anna could not be found...

...Finally after it seemed forever, the Doctor, about to give up hope, the nurses full of sympathetic eyes and breaking hearts, looked on, wondering how Leah might be told.
The Doctor would insert the sonogram detector in the last place there might be to look...
...the only one place possible to verify that indeed every possible place the child could be
had been explored... and there would be Anna... Little Anna, still there...

"She doesn't seem to be growing..."

the child was likely to face some challenges...
...and she did...

Anna was premature. Only four pounds, eleven ounces. She needed oxygen for the first five months of her life.

Now the little miracle child with mischievous blue eyes and curly blond ringlets is laughing, playing, talking up a storm without any need for words... and walking... walking...

Need something to put a giggle in you and brighten up your life?
